Genuine New Zealand Manuka Honey At Manuka Doctor, we put the New Zealand Government Standard on the lid of every pot when it is packed in New Zealand so you can be confident you are buying a genuine, authentic Manuka Honey, that has been created at source and shipped to the UK in the same pot. A Spoonful a Day There are many ways to enjoy taking Manuka Honey but a common way to enjoy is by starting your day with a spoonful of honey, straight from the pot. You can also try stirring into warm water with a little lemon and ginger for a tempting warm drink. Great Tasting Manuka Honey Pure New Zealand Manuka Honey has a unique taste that changes as the MGO rating increases. It isn't as sweet as most mass produced honey, higher MGO strengths will be less sweet. New Zealand Company Manuka Doctor is proud to be a New Zealand owned company that oversees 60,000 individual bee hives in the North and South islands, spanning over 11,000 hectares of land, all owned by our founder. We can trace every single batch of honey right back to the hive site where it was created. Delicious Manuka Honey The Manuka Bush L eptospermum scoparium, to give the Mānuka bush its full name, is an evergreen tree found in remote regions of New Zealand. Mānuka will generally grow up to five metres in height, although trees have been seen to grow up to fifteen metres tall. It features thick branching with small leaves and white flowers that give a sweet scent that the bees absolutely love. Harvested and packed by us in New Zealand. Manuka Honey You Can Trust The number on the front of the pot represents the mg per kg of MGO (Methylglyoxal) and the related strength of Antimicrobial Activity, which is known to kill certain types of bacteria. The greater the number, the stronger the Antimicrobial Activity. Once in the UK, we test every batch of honey a second time at a Government laboratory in York to ensure every MGO rating is true to label before sale. 100% New Zealand Honey Meets the New Zealand Government's standards for Manuka Honey Independently Tested MGO Ratings
